Since 2015 a pitched battle in several acts has been staged in the rear part of the site. The battle is strongly based on the late medieval model of Hussite battles with chariots.
We aim to show attacks of imperial troops on a (small) Hussite wagon
forts. Several wagons and corresponding equipment will be provided for this purpose.
Cave Gladium as an army camp is set exactly in the time of the Hussite wars, more precisely around the Battle of Taus in 1431. Therefore the battles are intended to support the historical
background of the event and to lead to further events to this kind.
