The large reenactors camp is one of the reasons for the success of this event. From near and far away, numerous groups stay at our camp.
Over 100 groups with more than 1000 actors camp on the grounds. They illustrate the medieval way of life with their craftsmanship and martial arts and give visitors an insight into life in the Middle Ages.
The camp area gives you an idea of what an army camp might have looked like in the Middle Ages. The size of the camp, the supply of the people and the administration of the army were a logistical challenge back then as well as today.
